Ahh how we envy you Ms. Gisele!

The gorgeous tousled waves and the va va voom volume, how we worship Gisele's hair.
This following how-to was taken from instyle.com;
Apply mousse to wet hair and blow-dry. Dry straight hair with the head upside down until hair is half-way dry, then finish drying with a large round brush, says stylist Elvin Arvelo. Dry wavy or curly hair with head upright, using a large round brush. Starting at eye level, wrap sections of hair vertically around a curling iron and hold for ten seconds. Set with a light misting of hairspray.

INSIDER TRICK "Small sections of hair allow stronger curls, while bigger sections will result in softer waves," says Arvelo.

As for makeup, if you are going for that effortless Gisele look, keep it natural.

Eyes- In order to get soft definition, line the top lashline with a brown eyeliner, curl eyelashes and apply one or two coats of brown mascara.
Cheeks- A peach blush applied to the apples of the cheeks will give a gorgeous glow and the appearance of being healthy.
Lips- A nude, natural pink lipstick would finish this look of, but for someone really on the go a red or pink tinted lipbalm would be fine!
Girls get curling and unleash your inner Victoria's Secret model!

Girl of the Moment- Miss Lilly Allen

With her quirky unique look, rock-star eyeliner and gorgeous deborah harry-esque hair she is the girl of the moment. As the new face of Chanel's handbag line, and with Karl Lagerfield's tick of approval, Lilly Allen has everything going for her. After recently losing weight and putting her turmulous relationship with Chemical Brothers Ed Simons and her heartbreaking miscarriage behind her, Lilly's back and better than ever. I especially love her new haircut, tousled and adorable in that effortless way. Going quite natural with the rest of her makeup and subtly winging her eyeliner, matched with her cute quirky top pays ode to vintage retro glamour.

We smile with you, Lilly Allen!

Natural, Romantic Look

This picture of Khloe Kardashian is an example that just lashings of mascara and a pink or rosy blush is all that is needed to have a natural romantic look. I think that this look is pretty and adorable, a perfect look to wear out to lunch with your friends or for a first date. Go for twisted or naturally tousled hair. If you have small eyes and want to make them seem bigger, what Khloe has in this picture is white eyeliner on her lower inner eye rim. However if this may look too "popping" for you, opt for a more skin coloured eyeliner in your lower inner rim instead.

Glowing Goddess

Let's talk Nia Long. Gorgeous as she is, her glowing appearance from head to toe makes her look especially gorgeous.
Body lotions contain luminizers, gold flecks or a natural looking amount of shimmer help to enhance your skin tone and help to cover any imperfections as well. One that I personally use almost every day is Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion with Shimmer. It gives your body a healthy amount of shimmer and I definetly gets compliments when I have it on. If you don't mind paying a bit more money, people have been raving about ModelCo Shimmer Airbush Luminizer.

For a glowing face use a moisturiser or primer with luminizing properties that enhance your glow. Benefit's Moonbeam is a cheaper version of YSL Touche Eclat, and help to highlight your complexion. On the tops of your cheekbones, down your nose and a little above the cupid bow of your lips are the places to use these products.
Another cheap trick is Vaseline! Put it where you would any highlighter, down the nose, on top of your cheekbones etc. This trick is used at fashion shows as well.
For glowing hair use a shine spray/serum and make sure your hair is frizz-free. If you have frizz it makes it harder for the light to shine on the hair shaft and give it that beautiful sheen.

So get glowing & show the world how beautiful you are!

Confessions of a Teenage Makeupaholic

With my first post, comes so much excitement. Now I have somewhere I can load all the tips,tricks & things I have learnt and share it with all my fellow avid makeupaholics. The first time I began to discover makeup, was at the tender age of 12;
It was the first day of grade 6, and I flounced down the stairs. My father looked up from the newspaper he was reading and I swear his jaw fell to the floor.
"What do you have on your face?" He exclaimed, his eyes wide in shock.
"Just a bit of mum's black eyeliner and lipstick" I responded with a big proud smile. With that came the cliched saying, "March up those stairs and take all that makeup off young lady". I even saw Bruce Jenner say it to his young daughter when she decided to go to school with black eyeliner and red lipstick, on Keeping up with The Kardashians. I then cried to my mother begging her to convince my father that I really am entitled to wearing makeup.

I look back on that day, the first day I ever wore makeup and laugh. It was with that incident that I began to fall in love with makeup. I am a perfectionist and I try to observe and learn everything. When I read magazines I don't just flip past the magazine ads, I look at how the models wear their eyeshadow, eyeliner, how their eyebrows are shaped. With that and hundreds of magazines, books and youtube videos, I have mixed together all the info to get the best out of my makeup. I know I am relatively young and I am still learning but I have a lot to share. I hope that I can share things that will help you make the most out of your beautiful self. Inner beauty is the most important thing and does shine through, but with makeup it can help boost your confidence and let everyone see how beautiful you are; inside and out.
So let your inner beauty shine!
